Job Description
Successful candidates will be responsible for research and education about technologies and/or systems that can be optimized in harmony with the environment - thus creating a greener society. Having the strong motivation to develop new research fields is an asset.
In addition, successful candidates will take on education and research duties related to graduate students in the Graduate School of Environmental Studies and undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (School of Engineering).

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience in researching environmentally friendly technologies (based on geotechnical engineering, development machinery engineering, and systems engineering)
- Expertise in machines and systems for sustainable resource development and utilization
- Insightful, with excellent leadership skills
- Possesses a doctoral degree (Ph.D.)
- Candidates of any nationality are welcome to apply, but they must possess sufficient Japanese language abilities to carry out their tasks (education, management, etc.)
